A court-appointed committee is imposing audits to restore transparency at the Vrindavan shrine.

  • The long-locked toshkhana beneath the sanctum will be opened after 54 years with full videography and an inventory overseen by a supervisory group including the auditor, a civil judge, the Vrindavan circle officer and a Goswami representative.
  • A special audit of movable and immovable assets for 2013–16 has been ordered with findings due in 15 days, alongside steps to improve financial record-keeping.
