- Justices Surya Kant, Ujjal Bhuyan and N Kotiswar Singh permitted six regular cases covering projects in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mohali and Prayagraj after completion of preliminary inquiries.
- The agency said the inquiries established cognisable offences and indicated it is prepared to proceed with search and seizure operations.
- The new cases come in addition to 22 regular cases already registered from earlier Delhi-NCR probes under the court-monitored investigation.
- The court directed Additional Solicitor General Aishwarya Bhati to share portions of the CBI’s sealed report with amicus curiae Rajiv Jain.
- Petitions by more than 1,200 homebuyers describe subvention-scheme abuses, and filings by the amicus have identified Supertech and large bank exposures as central to the alleged wrongdoing.
