  • Two Buderim teenagers aged 14 and 15 have been charged with multiple offences including wilful damage and assault occasioning bodily harm and will face proceedings under the Youth Justice Act.
  • Police allege the attack occurred on June 15 at about 7:45 pm at High Street traffic lights in Sippy Downs when the youths sprayed the powder through the car’s open rear window.
  • The fire extinguisher is believed to have been stolen hours earlier from a nearby car park on Courage Street.
  • The five-month-old suffered chemical burns to her eyes, dry skin and red rashes and has since been discharged from hospital.
  • Their arrests on June 21 followed a public appeal for information by Queensland Police.
