  • Vicky Sunohara returns as head coach of Canada’s under-18 women’s hockey team after guiding them to world championship gold in January.
  • Alison Domenico will lead the women’s development program for a second consecutive season with training set for Montreal ahead of a three-game series against the U.S. in Lake Placid.
  • Hockey Canada named Amanda Benoit-Wark, Marc-Andre Côté, Sheldon Goertzen and Carlee Campbell to the under-18 support staff, with Matt Desrosiers, Chris MacKenzie, Brad Fogal and Josh Bell joining the development squad’s staff.
  • The under-18 squad will convene for a selection camp in Calgary from August 6 to 9 to determine the roster for the Lake Placid series.
