Sunil Gavaskar's CHAMPS Foundation Provides Lifelong Support to Vinod Kambli

Vinod Kambli, battling serious health issues and financial challenges, will receive lifelong financial and medical support from Sunil Gavaskar's CHAMPS Foundation.
Starting April 1, 2025, Kambli will be provided INR 30,000 per month and an additional INR 30,000 annually for medical expenses.
This support follows a meeting between Kambli and Gavaskar during Wankhede Stadium's 50th anniversary celebrations in January 2025.
Gavaskar met with Kambli's doctors and instructed his foundation to implement immediate assistance to address Kambli's needs.
The initiative reflects the cricketing community's tradition of solidarity, with Gavaskar emphasizing the importance of caring for former players in distress.
