All three Indian goals were headers, with Rahul Bheke, Liston Colaco, and Chhetri scoring in the match.
This was the first international football match hosted in Shillong, played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
The match served as preparation for India's AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Bangladesh on March 25.
