Overview
- The 2026 festival runs Jan. 22–Feb. 1 in Park City and Salt Lake City, with an online program slated for Jan. 29–Feb. 1.
- Organizers will honor founder Robert Redford with a commemorative screening of his 1969 independent film Downhill Racer and related tribute gatherings.
- The Park City Legacy series will run Jan. 27–30, featuring restored or archival screenings of Little Miss Sunshine, Half Nelson, Mysterious Skin, American Dream, Humpday, House Party, and Saw, with filmmakers expected to attend.
- Park City’s Egyptian Theatre returns to the program to host select talks and filmmaker events during the festival.
- Ticket packages and passes go on sale Oct. 22 at noon ET, with single-film tickets set for Jan. 14; the world-premiere slate will be announced in December as planning continues for a 2027 move to Boulder.
