Sundance Film Festival Announces 2024 Lineup
The 40th edition to feature 53 short films from a record 12,098 submissions, special screenings, and panels with Sundance alumni.
- The Sundance Film Festival has announced its lineup of 53 short films for the 2024 edition, curated from a record 12,098 submissions, with works from 22 countries.
- The festival will also feature a slate of special screenings including a restored version of “Napoleon Dynamite,” “The Babadook,” and “The Times of Harvey Milk.”
- The festival will take place in person in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah, from Jan. 18-28, with a selection of titles available online from Jan. 25-28.
- The festival will also host several panels featuring Sundance alumni, including a conversation about the legacy of independent storytelling with Miguel Arteta, Richard Linklater, Dawn Porter, and Christine Vachon.
- The 40th edition of the festival will also celebrate its history with a screening of seminal short films from Sundance’s past, hosted by Jay Duplass and Mark Duplass.
