Sundance 2024 to Honor Stewart, Nolan, Song, Alberdi, and Mitchell

The film festival recognizes contributions to independent cinema with awards for vision, trailblazing, and philanthropy.

The 2024 Sundance Film Festival will honor Kristen Stewart, Christopher Nolan, Celine Song, Maite Alberdi, and Pat Mitchell at its opening night gala and fundraiser on January 18, 2024.
Kristen Stewart will receive the Visionary Award for her contributions to independent film, with two of her films, 'Love Me' and 'Love Lies Bleeding', set to premiere at the festival.
Christopher Nolan will be honored with the inaugural Sundance Institute Trailblazer Award, recognizing his significant contributions to independent film.
Celine Song and Maite Alberdi will each receive the Vanguard Award Presented by Acura for their respective films, 'Past Lives' and 'The Eternal Memory', which premiered at Sundance in 2023.
Pat Mitchell, a former Sundance Institute Board Chair and trustee since 1995, will receive the Vanguard Award for Philanthropy for her commitment to the Institute's support and social impact philanthropy.
