  • The 18-year-old, three-time Olympic champion also came within striking distance of Katie Ledecky’s 800m freestyle record in Victoria on Sunday.
  • She said the back-to-back world records have greatly boosted her confidence for the World Championships in Singapore.
  • The global competition runs July 11 to August 3 and will feature the world’s top swimmers vying for gold.
