'Suits' Stars to Present at Golden Globes Following Netflix Resurgence
New series set in 'Suits' universe in development as original show tops streaming charts.
- Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht, stars of the hit legal drama 'Suits', are set to present at the 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 7, 2024.
- The announcement comes after 'Suits' experienced a resurgence on Netflix, spending 12 weeks at the top of Nielsen's overall streaming chart and accumulating more than 45 billion minutes of streams on Netflix and Peacock combined.
- Other cast members from 'Suits' have also been invited to present at the Golden Globes, and some are slated to appear on a panel at the 2024 ATX TV Festival.
- Following the success of 'Suits' on streaming platforms, a new series set within the same universe is in development at Universal Studio Group's UCP, featuring entirely new characters.
- The Golden Globes will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024 at 8 p.m. ET.
