• Firefighters from Warren, Waitsfield, Fayston, Moretown, and Waterbury responded around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and brought the blaze under control shortly after 2 a.m.

• Crews initially knocked down the flames in about 35 minutes, aided by nearby hydrants fed by a snowmaking pond.
