Sufjan Stevens Announces 10th Anniversary Reissue of 'Carrie & Lowell'

The deluxe edition, set for release on May 30, 2025, features unreleased tracks, demos, and a 40-page booklet offering new insights into the landmark album.

• The reissue includes seven previously unreleased tracks, demo versions of five original songs, and alternate takes of 'Fourth of July' and 'Wallowa Lake Monster.'
• A demo version of 'Mystery of Love,' originally recorded during the album's sessions and later reworked for the film 'Call Me By Your Name,' is part of the release.
• The 40-page booklet features family photos spanning four generations, artwork, drawings, and landscape photography by Stevens, providing a deeper connection to the album's themes.
• The updated artwork showcases a full-frame version of the original Polaroid, with the album title handwritten by Stevens' sister Djamilah.
• The reissue reflects on the deeply personal themes of grief and family relationships that defined the original album, with a new essay by Stevens adding further context.
