Sudan Rebel Alliance Forms Parallel Government in Darfur

The RSF’s leadership council claims authority over national institutions with aspirations for international recognition.

  • On July 26, the RSF-led coalition proclaimed a parallel government in Darfur to rival Khartoum’s administration.
