Overview
- Prime Minister Kamil Idris told the UN Security Council his plan requires a ceasefire monitored by the UN, African Union and Arab League, RSF withdrawal from captured areas, encampment and disarmament, and a transition leading to elections.
- U.S. deputy ambassador Jeffrey Bartos urged the Sudanese Armed Forces and RSF to accept the Quad’s immediate humanitarian truce without preconditions, a stance the UAE envoy also supported.
