Overview

• The Strawberries and Cream Sub combines freshly sliced strawberries, clotted cream and strawberry puree on Italian white bread for a courtside-inspired twist.
• Participating restaurants in Wimbledon, Birmingham, Liverpool, Derby and Bristol will each distribute 100 six-inch subs on the opening day of the tournament.
• Subway’s senior NPD and product innovation manager, Rusty Warren, described the sandwich as a ‘match made in food heaven’ promising ‘serious summer flavour.’
• The launch mirrors Wimbledon’s own annual consumption of over 28,000 kilograms of strawberries and 10,000 litres of cream.
• From June 25 through July 1, Subway Rewards members can unlock a 30% discount on any sub.
