Subnautica 2 Guide Maps Conduit Crystal Nodes and Feedback Resonator Scan Sites

The new directions show how to unlock the projectile upgrade that lets you destroy viral flowers from a safe distance.

Overview

  • PC Gamer’s Monday guides pinpoint two Feedback Resonator scans in the glowing green pool area about 870 meters northeast of the Alien Ruins Research Base at roughly 450 meters deep, which sits at the edge of Tadpole Depth limits.
  • Players must equip the Tadpole Depth module to reach both the scan site and Conduit Crystal nodes that sit below about 250 meters on ledges around the Angel Comb and other alien structures.
  • Conduit Crystal, which you harvest by blasting the metallic coral-like nodes with the Sonic Resonator, is used for the Feedback Resonator and the Bioscanner, and guides say you need only about five pieces in total.
  • You can skip scanning by buying the Feedback Resonator blueprint inside the Alien Ruins Research Base for 2 titanium, 2 Celestine, and 2 copper.
  • After unlocking the blueprint, craft the upgrade at a Modification Station using 1 Sonic Resonator, 2 Enameled Glass, 2 Conduit Crystal, and 2 Strontium, with Enameled Glass made from glass plus Creature Enamel and Strontium processed from Celestine; the scan area is risky with predators and a nearby leviathan, so stash the Tadpole, bring a Repair Tool and healing, and consider grabbing Troilite, Metal Farm blueprints, and Axum Bacterial Culture while there.
