Overview
- Lines 24, 160, 166 and 168 under national jurisdiction and lines 338 and 406 under provincial control have been integrated into the expanded SUBE payment framework
- Fare options now include contactless Visa and Mastercard debit, credit or prepaid cards, NFC-enabled mobiles and smartwatches, physical and digital SUBE cards, and QR codes from the SUBE app or BNA+ wallet
- Ticket prices remain uniform across all payment methods and registered SUBE users retain their transfer discounts and local subsidies
- This rollout is part of the national transport modernization policy established by decree 698/2024 and coordinated by the Secretaría de Transporte, the Central Bank, Banco Nación and Nación Servicios
- To pay, riders inform the driver of their destination and tap their chosen device on the validator or generate a QR code in the app and scan it on the lower reader
