Overview

  • More than one million plug-and-play balcony PV systems are now registered in Germany following 2024’s Solarpaket 1 reforms.
  • Specialist retailers have slashed prices on 2,000 W “Quattro” kits bundled with ~2 kWh batteries to between €1,000 and €1,200 for limited-time promotions.
  • Growatt’s NOAH 2000 (2.048 kWh, 1,800 W input, IP66/67) remains the dominant storage option, while Anker’s Solarbank 2/3 lines also feature heavily in deep-discount offers.
  • Anker’s new Solix Power Dock (preorders open at €399 with introductory discounts) and EcoFlow’s Stream Ultra X highlight a shift toward expandable, multiunit storage platforms.
  • Bundled systems increasingly include bifacial modules, integrated inverters and smart meters or apps to enforce zero-export rules and maximize self-consumption.
