Overview

• Gold medals went to USC (Alternative/Experimental), Film Academy Baden‑Württemberg (Animation), the University of the West of England Bristol (Documentary) and Poland’s Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School (Narrative).
• The Academy revealed Gold, Silver and Bronze placements, which carry cash awards of $5,000, $3,000 and $2,000, respectively, and make the winning films eligible for the 98th Oscars short-film races.
• This year’s competition drew 3,127 entries from 988 colleges and universities worldwide.
