Strong Earthquake Strikes Central Japan; At Least One Dead, Buildings Damaged

A magnitude 6.2 earthquake hit Ishikawa prefecture in central Japan on Friday afternoon.
One person died and more than 20 others were injured.
Over 50 aftershocks have been recorded since the earthquake.
Several homes were damaged and some residents took refuge at evacuation centers.
Bullet trains connecting Tokyo and Kanazawa were temporarily halted but resumed normal operations with some delays.
