Overview
- McFly’s Tom Fletcher, a 2021 Strictly alumnus and composer-lyricist of Paddington The Musical, will perform The Explorer And The Bear with Paddington Bear.
- Musicals Week will open with a new five-minute dance relay for all five couples, choreographed by Matt Flint and featuring eight additional dancers to numbers from Mary Poppins Returns, My Fair Lady, Oliver!, Half A Sixpence and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
- The couples’ main routines are set: Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin dance a Charleston to Sit Down, You're Rockin' The Boat; Lewis Cope and Katya Jones perform a Salsa to Dance At The Gym; George Clarke and Alexis Warr do an Argentine tango to The Point Of No Return; Karen Carney and Carlos Gu dance a rumba to The Rhythm Of Life; Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon waltz to Never Enough.
- Additional musical features include a professional routine to Cell Block Tango from Chicago and a guest appearance by the cast of the West End parody Titanique.
- The quarter-final airs Saturday, December 6 at 6:50pm, with the results Sunday, December 7 at 7:45pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
