Overview

• Alexis Warr, the first female ballroom and Latin dancer to win America’s Favourite Dancer on So You Think You Can Dance in 2022, and three-season Dancing With The Stars Australia pro Julian Caillon have been added to the professional lineup.
• Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly will continue as hosts while judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas all return for the new series.
• The newcomers will take part in weekly group routines, themed weeks, musical performances and Strictly’s annual Blackpool special.
• The 23rd series is scheduled to premiere this autumn on BBC One and iPlayer, with celebrity contestant announcements expected in the coming weeks.
• These are the first additions to the troupe since Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima departed in 2024 following separate misconduct allegations.
