• Saturday’s pre-recorded launch on BBC One and iPlayer (6:40pm, 20 September) will reveal the 15 celebrity–professional pairings and include group routines plus an exclusive performance from Jessie J.
• Reigning champions Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell will reprise their BAFTA TV Memorable Moment–winning waltz to You'll Never Walk Alone on the launch show.
• Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman return with judges Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke; live competition begins 27 September, the first results air 5 October, and the final is scheduled for 20 December.
• Dianne Buswell, who announced she is expecting a baby with Joe Sugg, marked her first post-announcement appearance by calling the reunion waltz performance "extra special."
