  • All major platforms have published their August release calendars with trailers and promotional campaigns launching ahead of premieres from August 1 to 21.
  • Netflix will debut Merlina Season 2 Part 1 on August 6 and follow with the Spanish-language prison drama En el barro on August 14.
  • Disney+ opens on August 1 with animated Eyes of Wakanda, adds Alien: Earth on August 13 and the Tini Stoessel thriller Quebranto on August 15.
  • Prime Video lines up Eddie Murphy–Eva Longoria action-comedy El último encargo for August 6 and Betty La Fea: La Historia Continúa Season 2 for August 15.
  • HBO Max will conclude the late-summer roll-out by premiering Peacemaker Season 2 with John Cena on August 21.
