Siragusa's husband reportedly intervened by opening fire on the intruders, with one suspect believed to have been shot before they fled the scene.
Siragusa shared surveillance footage showing the armed men following her into her home and later fleeing after gunshots were fired.
The Houston Police Department is investigating the incident, and forensic tests are being conducted on a trail of blood left by one of the suspects.
