Stray Phoenix Dog Impaled on Fence Makes Miraculous Recovery and Finds New Home

After a month of intensive care, Junum the dog has been adopted by a loving family in Buckeye, Arizona.

Junum, a 2-year-old stray dog, was found impaled on a wire fence in Phoenix on July 31.
Emergency responders from the Arizona Humane Society rushed him to their trauma hospital for urgent surgery.
Veterinarians removed over five feet of intestine during the life-saving operation.
Junum spent over a month in the ICU receiving daily care and additional treatments, including dental surgery.
Following his recovery, Junum was adopted by a family in Buckeye, who have renamed him Cooper.
