Overview

  • Strategy’s $2.521 billion IPO of STRC perpetual preferred shares was upsized fivefold from its initial $500 million target, making it the largest U.S. public offering of 2025.
  • After deducting fees and expenses, the firm deployed $2.474 billion in net proceeds to acquire 21,021 Bitcoin at an average price of $117,256 per coin.
  • The latest purchase increased Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings to 628,791 BTC, representing over $46.8 billion on its balance sheet.
  • STRC shares began trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker STRC as the first U.S.-listed perpetual preferred security from a Bitcoin treasury company with monthly dividends.
  • Following the record offering and acquisition, Strategy has filed with the SEC to raise another $4.2 billion through its STRC program to continue its systematic Bitcoin accumulation.
