'Stranger Things' Stage Play Will Explore Origins of Henry Creel and Provide Clues to Final Season

A prequel stage play set in 1959 Hawkins, Indiana will explore the backstory of Henry Creel, a character with psychic abilities who becomes one of Dr. Brenner's experiments.
The play will feature younger versions of familiar characters like Jim Hopper, Joyce Byers, and Bob Newby.
The play is directed by Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin, with a script by Kate Trefry.
The play will premiere in London in December 2023 and may provide clues to the final season of the hit Netflix show.
A live-action Stranger Things spin-off series is also in the works from The Duffer Brothers.
