'Stranger Things' Prequel Play to Debut on Broadway in 2025

The Olivier Award-winning production explores Hawkins' origins, set decades before the Netflix series.

Performances begin March 28, with the official opening on April 22 at the Marquis Theatre.
The play, titled 'The First Shadow,' premiered in London's West End in December 2023.
Set in 1959, it features younger versions of Jim Hopper, Joyce Maldonado, and Henry Creel.
The story is based on an original idea by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne, and Kate Trefry.
Tickets go on presale September 13, with general sales starting September 17.
