‘Stranger Things’ Broadway Prequel Begins Previews as Netflix Announces Documentary

Louis McCartney reprises his role as Henry Creel in the Broadway production, continuing his performance from the West End version.
The play, written by Kate Trefry and directed by Stephen Daldry with co-direction by Justin Martin, is set in 1959 Hawkins, Indiana, and delves into Henry Creel’s backstory.
The West End production received critical acclaim, winning two Olivier Awards in 2024 for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play and Set Design.
