Stowaway Found Dead in American Airlines Plane’s Landing Gear at Charlotte

Detectives launched a homicide investigation, requesting public tips.

Overview

  • Maintenance crews discovered the body around 9 a.m. Sunday during a routine check on an aircraft that had recently arrived from Europe, and officers pronounced the person dead at the scene.
