Overview

• Federal prosecutor Carlos Stornelli authorized an investigation into alleged illegal intelligence behind recordings attributed to Karina Milei and said he will not seek journalists’ sources or order searches.
• Civil and commercial judge Alejandro Maraniello previously issued a precautionary order prohibiting publication of audios recorded in the Casa Rosada attributed to Milei, a move denounced as prior restraint by three legal associations.
• After a Uruguayan streaming channel released clips that mention Chamber of Deputies president Martín Menem, Security Minister Patricia Bullrich said the Government will expand its complaint to that jurisdiction.
