Stormzy Banned from Driving for Nine Months After Using Phone Behind the Wheel

Stormzy, real name Michael Ebenazer Owuo Junior, was banned from driving for nine months after being caught using a phone while driving his Rolls-Royce in March 2024.
The incident occurred in West Kensington, London, where an undercover officer stopped him and criticized his tinted windows and phone use.
Before this case, Stormzy had six penalty points on his license for prior speeding offenses, and he admitted to driving a Lamborghini with illegally tinted windows in October 2023.
The court imposed a £2,010 fine and described his actions as 'dangerous and irresponsible,' adding six more points to his driving record.
Stormzy's lawyer stated that the rapper accepts responsibility, has apologized, and has since removed the illegal tinting from his vehicles.
