Store Owner, 49, Beaten in Delhi’s Sangam Vihar as Police Register Case, Hunt for Suspects

Police say a case is registered with teams deployed to trace the accused.

  • The victim, identified as Mukesh Kumar Singhal, was allegedly attacked by his younger brother, Samshad alias Bhuri, along with associates.
  • Singhal suffered lacerations to his forehead and scalp and swelling to his left hand and was admitted to Batra Hospital for treatment.
  • Police registered a case based on a PCR call, the medico-legal report, and the victim’s statement under Sections 110/3(5) of the BNS and 308 of the IPC.
  • Investigators said teams are working to trace and apprehend the accused, with no arrests reported yet.
