• The months-long investigation began in February after students reported online coercion to a school resource officer and administrators.
• The juvenile Fieldstone Middle School student was arrested in June and is now facing felony counts including use of a child in a sexual performance, promoting such a performance, and possession of that material.
• Police have identified six male victims, about 12 to 14 years old, and say evidence indicates the total number of victims could reach the hundreds, potentially beyond the local school.
• Investigators say the suspect posed as a girl on widely used social media and messaging platforms, solicited explicit images, and then demanded more content or gift cards under threat of exposure.
