Stolen Swiss Dogs Recovered After International Police Operation

Two Bolonka dogs taken from a Zurich apartment were found in Poland after a ransom demand of one million Swiss francs led to arrests.

Two Bolonka dogs were stolen from a 59-year-old man's apartment in Schlieren, near Zurich, Switzerland.
The thieves left a ransom note demanding one million Swiss francs (approximately 1.05 million euros) for the dogs' return.
Swiss police arrested a 30-year-old Norwegian suspect at Zurich Airport, who remains in custody in Switzerland.
Further investigations led to Poland, where a 38-year-old Polish suspect was arrested, and the dogs were safely recovered.
The dogs were reunited with their owner on Friday, and Polish authorities are conducting additional investigations into the case.
