Stolen Baby Jesus Figurine Returned to Colorado Nativity Scene with Apology

A Baby Jesus figurine was stolen on December 15 from a nativity scene in Fort Collins' Old Town Square.
The Fort Collins Police shared a blurry photo of the suspect and sought public assistance in identifying the individual.
On December 19, the statue was anonymously returned to Poudre Fire Authority Station #1 along with a handwritten apology note.
The note, written by the thief, admitted to making a 'dumb mistake' and promised it would not happen again.
The figurine was found with minor damage, but the thief's identity remains unknown, and no formal complaints have been filed by the nativity scene's owners.
