Stevie Nicks Thanks Taylor Swift Song For Comfort After Fleetwood Mac Bandmate's Death

Stevie Nicks thanked Taylor Swift for writing a song that resonated with her after the recent death of Christine McVie, her friend and Fleetwood Mac bandmate.
McVie died in November 2022 following an illness, according to her obituary.
The song “You’re On Your Own, Kid” from Swift’s new album “Midnights” helped Nicks grieve McVie’s death, Nicks said at a recent concert.
Nicks and McVie were best friends for 47 years and played together in Fleetwood Mac, along with Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, Christine McVie’s ex-husband.
Upon McVie’s death, Nicks wrote a heartfelt tribute calling her “my best friend in the whole world."
