Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Yungblud and Nuno Bettencourt to Lead Ozzy Osbourne Tribute at Sunday’s VMAs

  • MTV confirms a medley of Ozzy Osbourne’s greatest hits led by Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Yungblud and Nuno Bettencourt.
  • The 2025 VMAs air live Sunday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m. ET from UBS Arena on CBS, simulcast on MTV and streaming on Paramount+, with LL Cool J hosting.
  • MTV billed the segment as a once-in-a-lifetime performance, and three of the four artists performed with Osbourne at his July 5 Birmingham farewell.
  • The tribute is the first major televised homage since Osbourne’s July 22 death, which his death certificate attributes to a heart attack with coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease cited.
