Steven Sims Scores Game-Tying Touchdown with Historic Punt Return

Recently promoted from the Texans' practice squad, Sims delivers the first NFL playoff punt return touchdown since 2013, tying the game against the top-seeded Ravens.

Steven Sims, recently promoted from the Houston Texans’ practice squad, scored a game-tying touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens with a 67-yard punt return.
This was the first punt return for a touchdown in the NFL playoffs since 2013 and the first by a Texans player since 2016.
The Ravens, who had the league's best regular season record, were tied at 10 with the Texans at halftime.
Sims had never returned a punt for a touchdown in his career, but did have a kickoff return touchdown with Washington during the 2019 season.
The decision to move Sims to the active roster came after veteran receiver Noah Brown suffered a shoulder injury during the Texans’ wild-card round victory over the Browns.
