Steven Knight’s New Drama 'A Thousand Blows' Premieres February 21 on Hulu

Set in 1880s London, the six-part series explores underground boxing and criminal networks, featuring an ensemble cast led by Malachi Kirby, Erin Doherty, and Stephen Graham.

The series, created by 'Peaky Blinders' mastermind Steven Knight, is based on true-life stories from London's East End in the 1880s.
The plot follows Jamaican friends Hezekiah Moscow and Alec Munroe as they navigate the brutal bare-knuckle boxing scene and the criminal underworld.
Erin Doherty stars as Mary Carr, leader of the all-female Forty Elephants gang, while Stephen Graham plays Sugar Goodson, a boxing kingpin and antagonist.
The six-episode drama will debut on Hulu and Disney+ on February 21, 2025, following its earlier premiere at the BFI Festival in October 2024.
The cast also includes Francis Lovehall, Jason Tobin, and a large ensemble, with themes of survival, ambition, and power struggles driving the narrative.
