Gerrard's tenure saw the team finish sixth last season but struggle this year, currently sitting 12th in the league with eight losses in 17 matches.
The former England midfielder expressed gratitude for the opportunity and described his time in Saudi Arabia as a positive personal and professional experience despite the setbacks.
Club president Samer Al Mishal praised Gerrard's contributions, stating that he helped lay foundations for the club's future, though results did not meet expectations.
