Steve Lutz has been hired as the new men's basketball coach at Oklahoma State, following a successful season at Western Kentucky.
Lutz boasts a career record of 69-35 and has led his teams to the NCAA Tournament in each of his three seasons as a head coach.
He replaces Mike Boynton, who was dismissed after seven seasons with the Cowboys, having achieved only one NCAA Tournament appearance.
Prior to his tenure at Western Kentucky, Lutz coached Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to two Southland Conference tournament titles and NCAA Tournament berths.
