Steve Bannon to Stand Trial in May 2024 for Defrauding Border Wall Donors

Steve Bannon has been charged with laundering money and defrauding donors who contributed to a campaign to build a wall along the US-Mexico border.
Bannon and others promised donors that all money would go toward building the wall but instead used it to enrich themselves, according to prosecutors.
Two others involved have already pleaded guilty, while a third was convicted; Bannon's trial is set to begin in May 2024.
Bannon has pleaded not guilty to the state charges, which were brought after he received a presidential pardon for related federal crimes.
If convicted, Bannon could face up to 15 years in prison for the most serious offense.
