Overview
- Myrta Romanos, 47, the stepmother of the primary suspect, Christopher Preciado, 19, has been arrested in connection with the murders of pregnant teen Savanah Soto and her boyfriend Matthew Guerra.
- Romanos has been charged with three felonies: abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, and altering/destroying/or concealing a human corpse.
- Surveillance footage allegedly shows Romanos leaving and returning to her home in a truck with Christopher and his father, Ramon Preciado, on the night of the murders.
- Police believe the gun used in the killings, which resulted in the deaths of Soto, Guerra, and their unborn child, belonged to Romanos.
- Christopher Preciado and Ramon Preciado were previously arrested and charged in connection with the case. All three suspects are now in custody, and police are not seeking any additional suspects.
