Stephen Stills, 80, has been sober for three years and credits his sobriety with helping him reconnect with his original personality and rediscovering his affable nature.
Stills has been performing select one-off gigs since retiring from touring in 2018, including a recent appearance at the FireAid benefit concert alongside Graham Nash and other artists.
He is currently working on a memoir, taking a slow and reflective approach by revisiting old newspaper articles to jog his memory and recount life events.
