Stellantis Recalls 1.46 Million Vehicles Over Software Malfunction

The recall affects Ram 1500 trucks and Jeep models due to issues with anti-lock brakes and instrument panels.

The recall includes nearly 1.23 million Ram 1500 trucks from 2019 and 2021-2024 model years in the U.S.
A software issue can disable the electronic stability control system, increasing crash risks.
Stellantis is also recalling 33,000 Jeep Gladiator and Wrangler models due to potential instrument panel short circuits.
No injuries or crashes have been reported related to these issues.
Owners will be notified by mail starting October 3, and repairs will be free at dealerships.
