The recall affects multiple Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, and Ram models from 2021-2023, with fixes provided via a software update.

The software glitch can disable rearview cameras, increasing the risk of a crash.
Affected models include Jeep Compass, Grand Cherokee, Wagoneer, and Grand Wagoneer SUVs.
Ram ProMaster vans and various Ram pickups from 2022 and 2023 are also included.
Owners will receive recall notices and can update their vehicles' software online.
