Overview

  • Stellantis has launched a Europe-wide digital platform allowing PureTech engine owners to submit claims for reimbursement of repair costs online.
  • The warranty for affected PureTech 1.0 and 1.2 engines has been extended to 10 years or 180,000 km, covering parts and labor for recognized defects.
  • Eligible reimbursements apply to repairs conducted between January 2022 and December 2024, provided maintenance was performed at authorized centers.
  • The initiative addresses known issues with excessive oil consumption and premature timing-belt wear in previous-generation PureTech engines.
  • Claimants must provide repair invoices, maintenance records, and vehicle documentation to access compensation through the Stellantis platform.
